I retract what I said earlier.
I now neither think that the NVA actions were cowardly or stupid, perhaps they were the wisest last night.
After perusing the active corps in the Venal area last night, it really seems like there are only 3 active NVA corps still in the venal area.
It really wouldn't have been smart to risk fleets that large to defend turf used by so few corps in an alliance. How many corps are ready to lose practically their entire fleet for an area used primarily by another corp... probably very few indeed.
But this leads to the following post:
The FE is moving into venal in force. Arrangements and terms can be had for those corps who still want to use Venal, otherwise, you travel into venal at your own risk.
Again, after pondering the situation last night, and learning of they myriad of duplicitous acts occurring last night, it was probably wise not to add insult to injury and potentially lose a fleet for territory of dubious value, so I therefore retract the "cowardly" and "stupid" remarks.
